This notice matches this website.
The Continental Coach is a static, independent editorial website at flix.autos. It publishes pages, uses remote photography and third-party front-end resources, and provides a mailto contact form. It does not provide accounts, a checkout, a transaction service, a traveller database, a newsletter platform, behavioural advertising or an analytics product.
This notice describes what can happen when you visit this site. It is written in general GDPR-style terms because data-protection rights and duties depend on where a visitor and hosting provider are located. It is not a replacement for jurisdiction-specific legal advice.
Hosting and logs
A static page still reaches a server.
When a browser requests a page, static hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, referrer and error data. This is commonly recorded in server logs for security, reliability and operational troubleshooting. The editorial site does not add its own database or application layer to those requests.
We do not use this information to create reader profiles or to make automated decisions. Any retention of infrastructure logs is governed by the relevant hosting provider’s operational practice. If a security or reliability issue needs review, access should be limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
Cookies and analytics
No analytics, no site-set tracking cookies.
This site does not intentionally set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, preference cookies or a login cookie. There is no theme switcher, account feature or local-storage preference tool. We do not run Google Analytics, a tracking pixel, audience measurement script or a third-party advertising network.
Third-party resources may have their own technical behaviour when your browser contacts them. The page uses the Tailwind Play CDN and Google Fonts, and it requests remote image files from Unsplash’s image delivery domain. Those requests occur because the browser needs the CSS, font or photograph to render the page. Their operators may process request data under their own notices. You can use browser settings, extensions or privacy tools to control third-party requests, subject to the effect on page rendering.
Email correspondence
The contact form opens your mail client.
The contact form uses a mailto link. When you submit it, your own email application or webmail service opens and handles the sending of the message; the site itself does not receive form data through a server endpoint. If you send us an email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and message.
We use correspondence only to read and respond to editorial feedback, corrections, content questions, website feedback or general enquiries. Do not send payment, identity-document, account or sensitive travel information. We do not need it and cannot use the inbox to handle operator-specific cases. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the message, maintain a correction record or meet a legal obligation, then delete or minimise it where practical.
Photographs and external links
Third-party destinations.
Images on this site are loaded from URLs supplied by Unsplash. Clicking a photographer credit or another external source takes you to a third-party website that has its own practices. The same is true for an official operator link. We do not control those sites, their cookies or their handling of information after you leave flix.autos.
We use only the minimum third-party technical resources needed for the current static design: Google Fonts, the Tailwind CDN and remote Unsplash image URLs. There are no embedded maps, videos, social-media widgets or payment processors on the site.
Your choices and rights
Questions about personal information.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Because this site holds little information beyond any email you choose to send, a request should identify the email address and the context that lets us locate the correspondence.
To ask a privacy question, write to [email protected] with “Privacy question” in the subject. We may need to verify a request in a proportionate way. This notice may be updated when the site’s actual technical practices change; material changes will be reflected in the text rather than hidden in a separate tracking layer.
